My parents got me this amazing gift for Christmas. It’s something that is so unique, I love it!

Now, above the front door of my rowhome, there is a skinny window to let light in since row homes typically only have 1 or 2 small windows in the front. See the photo below. ..these are standard Baltimore rowhomes. My house kind of looks like the middle one with the grey steps….ideally I’ll be able to remove the formstone one day and it’ll look like the pretty brick one with the blue door! :) Formstone was a weird fad in the 1940’s, I believe…but there is beautiful brick underneath, so that will be a project for another day!

Anyways, back to the gift! There is a place in Baltimore called Terraza Stained Glass & they create custom stained glass pieces. My parents got me a voucher for Terraza to create a custom stained glass transom window for my house! I just started the process, and I’m already so excited about how it’s going to turn out!

I’ve had the Terraza team come out to measure my window & next week I’m going to their shop to choose my design and colors, and I even get to pick out the glass that we’ll use! I’m beyond excited!

Here are some of the one’s I’m trying to choose between! What do you think? Greys/Crystals? Or bold color?

And here are some more inspiration photos I’ve found. In Baltimore, people who have their windows designed typically get their house number put into the design!

It’ll be tough to choose a design, but this is going to make my home that much more special!
