One of my best friends got married the other weekend!! A few of my girlfriends & I wanted to get them a special gift for their wedding that was unique…soooo we got them a photobooth for their wedding!
I work with this company Pixilated Photobooth for work, and they are fabulous. It’s an open-air photo booth. Check out their site…they are absolutely blowing up!
So we needed to come up with a creative way to tell the bride & groom that we were getting them this gift so they knew before they walked into the reception. So I made this card (materials courtesy of Michaels)!
Front of the card. I got pink & white stripes to match the brides wedding invites & covered the card with the striped paper. I purchased a pack of glitter letters & spelled out “Congrats Mr. & Mrs.” Then I attached the tux & wedding gown applique for a cute graphic.
Inside the card, we created a little rhyme which was a compilation of a few wedding cards I googled :) to make a little poem. I wanted a few things to “pop,” so I glitterized their new name “The Davies” and “I do”, then “photobooth” so they knew what the surprise was! I added a few other wedding appliques & it was ready to go. We were planning on giving it to them at the rehearsal dinner so they knew the night before!
Here’s a final print out at the wedding (some of the bridesmaids)…how adorable are these print outs!?
